Online Money Transfer (OMT)
Overview
Founded by Mouawad and Abou Zeid, OMT was established in 1998 as the first Accredited Agent of Western Union in Lebanon. Today, the company is owned and managed by its current shareholders: Chairman Hikmat Abou Zeid and board members: Executive Vice Chairman Joya Mouawad and Chief Executive Officer Naji Abou Zeid.
Through time, OMT became a recognized financial services leader with the largest Agent network of over 1,400 Agents across Lebanon. The company has broadened its portfolio to include more than 150 services with leading partners, such as telecom operators, governmental entities, and private firms in addition to local and international donors.
