Order of Malta Lebanon

Overview

The Order of Malta Lebanon, officially known as the Lebanese Association of the Knights of Malta, is a humanitarian organization operating under the Sovereign Order of Malta. Established in 1957, it has been dedicated to serving vulnerable populations across Lebanon, regardless of race, religion, or background. With a network of over 30 centers and programs, the Order provides essential services in healthcare, social welfare, and agro-humanitarian support. Its initiatives include community health centers, mobile medical units, elderly care facilities, and specialized programs for individuals with disabilities. Notably, the Chabrouh camps offer unique experiences for volunteers and guests with severe disabilities, fostering inclusion and compassion. In response to Lebanon's socio-economic challenges, the Order launched the "Harvesting Hope, Growing Resilience" agro-humanitarian program to support food security and empower local farmers. Through its unwavering commitment, the Order of Malta Lebanon continues to be a beacon of hope and solidarity in the region.
