Organic Egypt Foundation
Overview
Organic Egypt Foundation, established through a German-Egyptian cooperation project funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), is dedicated to advancing organic agriculture in Egypt. In partnership with the Egyptian Biodynamic Association (EBDA) and the Integral Development Association of Minia (IDAM), the foundation offers tailored services to organic farmers and processors, aiming to enhance their competitiveness in both local and international markets. Key initiatives include organizing training programs on organic concepts, facilitating networking events to connect stakeholders, and advocating for policies that support sustainable agricultural practices. Additionally, Organic Egypt emphasizes women's empowerment in rural areas by promoting their involvement in organic farming and community development.
