Overview
The Organisation Marocaine des Droits Humains (OMDH) is a Moroccan non-governmental human rights organization (NGO) founded in 1988 and headquartered in Rabat, Morocco. It works to protect and promote human rights in Morocco, including civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights. Its activities include human-rights advocacy, awareness raising, monitoring and reporting on the human-rights situation, legal and institutional advocacy, and strengthening cooperation among human-rights defenders. OMDH is recognized as a public-interest association and holds consultative status with the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
