Overview
Orienthelfer e.V. is a non-profit organization founded in Munich, Germany, in 2012. The organization provides on-site assistance in the Syria crisis - flexibly, quickly, and sustainably. The educational projects and training measures for young people promote positive prospects for work and equality. Additional emergency response projects mitigate acute emergencies. Most of the projects are currently located in Lebanon and Syria. Since 2017, the partner organization Orienthelper in Beirut has been providing the German organization with additional support in the implementation of the projects. The intensive cooperation with Lebanese partners, international and local forces, who are permanently on site, forms the basis for success.
