Overview
The Palestinian Centre for Peace and Democracy (PCPD) is a not-for-profit and non-governmental Palestinian civil society organization that works to achieve a just peace based on international legitimacy and UN Resolutions. The PCPD promotes a feminist perspective to societal issues, seeks to contribute to gender equality, social justice, freedom of expression, and aims to build a vibrant and tolerant Palestinian state that is committed to equality for all irrespective of sex, religion, color or political preferences; a Palestinian state that enjoys peace and security, a state that is committed to the rule of law, governed by the values of integrity and accountability, and is open to the participation of all. PCPD works together with youth, CSOs and Local Authorities to bridge the gap and contribute to the democratization processes.
