The Palestinian Environmental Friends Association (PEF) is a nonprofit, non-governmental organization established in 1998 by Palestinian experts. PEF provides services across various environmental sectors without discrimination, aiming for sustainable and well-managed natural resources. PEF's activities encompass several key areas, including wastewater treatment and reuse, sludge treatment and reuse, solid waste management, water quality management, water conservation, and air pollution control. The association engages in research and studies, training and education, demonstration projects, public awareness campaigns, workshops and seminars, and consultancy services.
