Women`s Humanitarian Organisation

Overview

The Palestinian Women’s Humanitarian Organization (PWHO) is a grassroots, non-profit humanitarian organization established in 1993 and officially registered in Lebanon. It works primarily with vulnerable communities—especially Palestinian refugees—by providing support in the areas of health, education, protection, livelihoods, shelter, disability inclusion, and emergency response. PWHO collaborates with local and international partners to deliver both immediate humanitarian assistance during crises and long-term development programs aimed at reducing poverty and improving community resilience. Its work focuses on children, youth, women, persons with disabilities, and older people, while promoting human rights, social justice, and sustainable development.
