The Peace with Dignity Association is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that has been working since 1995 (founding document) in the fields of international solidarity, human rights, cooperation, research, education, and information, to raise social awareness and contribute to the creation of fair and supportive international relations that foster equitable development with peace and dignity at a global level.
The Association implemented appropriate measures to sustain its activities following the sharp cuts in cooperation that began in 2011 as a result of the financial and economic crisis. In this way, Paz con Dignidad has continued to strengthen and improve its internal and external communication. In 2018, the print edition of Pueblos magazine was closed, but the Pueblos Blog in El Salto continued to be maintained and, together with other organizations, the online social television channel Tantaka was promoted. Currently, we continue to support the defense of human rights, the denunciation of economic and political elites as responsible for growing inequality, and the promotion of access to basic issues for a dignified life for the majority of society, such as health, food within processes of food sovereignty, and agroecology.
