The Phenix Center for Economic and Informatics Studies is a Jordan-based non-governmental organization (NGO) founded in 2003. It focuses on independent policy research and public opinion analysis related to economic, social, and legislative issues in Jordan. The Center’s mission is to promote democratic principles, human rights, and sustainable development by engaging political actors and civil society in economic and social reform. It provides in-depth research and policy recommendations, aiming to enhance labor policies, social protection, and freedom of association. Through public opinion polls, workshops, and advocacy efforts, the Phenix Center works to inform stakeholders and drive policy changes that align with human rights and democratic governance principles. The organization is led by Ahmad Awad, a recognized expert in international political economy and a dedicated human rights advocate. Under his leadership, the Phenix Center has played a significant role in shaping public policy discussions and supporting human rights reforms in Jordan and the broader Arab region.
