Plan International Ireland was set up in 2003. They are now one of the leading international development organisations in Ireland. At the core of their work is a focus on girls’ rights and education. their aim is for them to learn, lead, decide, survive and thrive in all aspects of their lives.
They don’t just educate girls in the most vulnerable communities on earth. They ensure they have the tools to survive. By starting with reading and writing, They are starting them on a journey to making informed choices and unlocking their potential.
Before, during and in the aftermath of emergencies, Plan International is working with communities to do what is needed, where it’s needed most, such as its contribution with plan international Egypt in delivering relief assistant to Gaza.
