Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law
Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law
Overview
Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law is an independent academic institution based in Lund, Sweden that contributes to a wider understanding of, and respect for, human rights and international humanitarian law. The mission of the Institute is to promote universal respect for human rights and humanitarian law, by means of research, academic education, dissemination of information and institutional development programmes
RWI applies a cross-cutting approach to gender equality so that the gender equality perspective is integrated into all their work. RWI achieves this through targeted activities, such as training courses focusing on gender equality, and through integrating gender equality considerations into all their work even when the primary objective is something else.
