Rights and Security International (RSI)

Overview

Rights and Security International is an international human rights organisation that upholds human rights in the national security context. It believes communities are stronger, and everyone is safer, when governments fully respect rights and freedoms.

RSI, first known as the Britain & Ireland Human Rights Project and later known as Rights Watch (UK), was created to address conflict-related abuses in Northern Ireland. Building on its 30-year history of promoting human rights and ending abusive security practices in the United Kingdom, its now bringing expertise to other parts of the world—while also continuing its work for justice in the UK.
