Sawa For Development was established in 2006 by a dedicated group aiming to contribute to the development and empowerment of vulnerable communities in Beqaa, Lebanon. Driven by the belief that social justice is fundamental for enduring peace, Their work addresses discrimination, marginalization, poverty, and human rights violations, particularly for women, girls, individuals with disabilities, and those in critical situations.
