Service de Cooperation au Developpement (SCD)
Overview
The SCD is an NGO approved by the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and by the Civic Service Agency , to allow people interested in solidarity expatriation to go to developing countries with a framework (social security French, retirement contribution, monthly allowance, support and training, etc.). SCD is an organization that sends and welcomes volunteers for long-term missions ( 6 months to 2 years ) on development, cooperation and international solidarity projects . Volunteers provide support to partner structures in Asia, Africa or South America. The SCD offers two types of contracts: International Solidarity Volunteering and Civic Service.
