The Sharjah Business Women Council (SBWC) is a UAE-based organization dedicated to empowering and supporting women entrepreneurs and professionals. Established in 2002 under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, SBWC operates under the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI). The council aims to foster women’s participation in business by providing mentorship, training programs, and networking opportunities. It supports women in launching, managing, and expanding their businesses by offering financial and legal guidance, as well as access to resources that facilitate growth. SBWC also plays a key role in advocating for policies that enhance women’s roles in the economy while creating a strong platform for collaboration through events, workshops, and international partnerships. By connecting businesswomen locally and globally, SBWC contributes to the broader vision of economic diversification and female empowerment in the UAE.
