Sharjah Center for Learning Difficulties
Overview
The Sharjah Center for Learning Difficulties was established by Emiri Decree No. 49 of 2016 to operate under the supervision and under the umbrella of the Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services with the aim of providing services for people with learning difficulties of all ages, both sexes and for all nationalities on the state’s land.
Their goals are:
Developing institutional community awareness in the field of learning difficulties. Providing modern systems and innovative means to support people with learning disabilities and their families. Employing the latest practices in the field of qualifying specialized cadres. Providing educational alternatives for people with learning difficulties and qualifying them to integrate into society. Raising awareness of the causes of learning difficulties, ways to prevent them, and appropriate methods in dealing with people with learning difficulties.
