Overview
Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS) is a local non-profit organization founded in 1979 as a branch of the Arab Family Organization in the Gulf region, aiming to advance the Arab family and develop the social services it needs. SCHS as an independent organization in the Emirate of Sharjah aiming at serving people with disabilities in the UAE.
SCHS services include:
- Early intervention to prevent and reduce disabilities.
- Education, training and rehabilitation of children and adults with disabilities.
- Family counseling.
- Job placement.
- Awareness and public education on disability issues.
