Overview

SIGI was established in 1998 as a non-governmental, not-for-profit, independent organization operating in Jordan. It commenced by a group of Jordanian women for women. The main goal of SIGI-Jo is to increase the society attitudes and practices to mainstreaming women issues within the entire society plans, programs, strategies and reform processes. SIGI-JO advocates for respecting women rights to consolidate her role as key contributor in social development, reforming policies and strategies, and security for the family or any other spheres.
