Solidagro
Overview
Solidagro vzw is a Belgian non-governmental organization based in Sint-Niklaas that focuses on promoting sustainable food systems and agro-ecological agriculture worldwide. Since its founding in 1964, it has aimed to ensure the right to food for all by supporting small-scale farmers and rural communities in countries such as Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Mali, Senegal, the Philippines, and Palestine. The organization works with local partners to develop vegetable gardens, water systems, seed banks, and cooperatives, while providing education, training, and awareness-raising on sustainable agriculture and global food issues. In Belgium, Solidagro also engages in advocacy and solidarity campaigns to address global food challenges.
