Overview
Sorouh for Sustainable Development Foundation (SSDF) is a non-profit aid organization in Iraq with no political or religious affiliation. SSDF is one of the participants of the first-ever World Humanitarian Summit on 23-24 May 2016 in Turkey. SSDF was founded in 2008 and registered within GoI/DNGO under number (1E74034) and KRG/DNGO Code (5528). SSDF works now in 6 Governorates (Salahaldin, Kirkuk, Ninewa, Erbil, Baghdad and Babil) in 8 sectors (Livelihood, Education, WASH, Food Security, CP, GBV, MPCA, Peacebuilding). SSDF works from emergency aid to development and peace to build a more sustainable future, meet the basic needs of the affected population and facilitate the impartial provision of assistance in accordance with the humanitarian principles.
