SOS Children`s Villages Morocco

Overview

SOS Children’s Villages Morocco (SOS Villages d’Enfants Maroc) is a non-governmental organization established in 1984 that is dedicated to supporting children and young people who have lost parental care or are at risk of losing it. As part of the global SOS Children’s Villages network, which operates in over 130 countries, the Moroccan branch focuses on providing long-term, family-like care in a secure and nurturing environment. Their work encompasses access to education, healthcare, psychological support, and programs that help strengthen families and prevent child abandonment.

The organization operates in several key locations across Morocco, including Dar Bouazza (near Casablanca), Aït Ourir (near Marrakesh), Agadir, El Jadida, and Imzouren in the Al Hoceima province. Each of these villages offers tailored services to meet the needs of children and families in their respective regions, often addressing issues such as poverty, neglect, and social instability.

Since its founding, SOS Children’s Villages Morocco has positively impacted the lives of countless children and families through a holistic approach that promotes child protection, education, and community empowerment.
