SOS Children's Villages Tunisia is a nonprofit organization founded in 1984, dedicated to caring for children without parental support or those at risk of losing it. As part of the global SOS Children’s Villages network, it provides family-based care, where children grow up in SOS families under the guidance of an SOS mother in a nurturing and stable environment. The organization also emphasizes education and vocational training, operating kindergartens and training centers to equip children and young adults with the necessary skills for a brighter future. Beyond direct childcare, SOS Children's Villages Tunisia runs social centers that work with vulnerable families and communities to prevent child abandonment and promote self-sufficiency. With four SOS villages in Gammarth, Akouda, Mahrès, and Siliana, the organization supports over 2,300 children and young people across Tunisia. Its mission is to ensure every child grows up with love, security, and the opportunity to build an independent and fulfilling life.
