Stand For Women
Overview
Stand For Women is a Lebanese non-governmental organization (NGO) established in 2017, dedicated to advocating for women's economic empowerment and gender equality across the Middle East. Registered with the Lebanese Ministry of Interior and Finance, the organization champions sisterhood and strives to accelerate progress for women in the workforce and entrepreneurship. Its mission includes creating workplaces where gender diversity based on merit is the norm, supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal #5: achieving gender equality and empowering all women and girls by 2030. Stand For Women operates as a social enterprise, aiming to instill positive changes within the workforce by raising awareness about the importance of women's roles in organizational growth and advocating for gender-balanced businesses throughout the Middle East.
