Studio Emad Eddin Foundation
Overview
Opened in 2005, Studio Emad Eddin is a unique project in the Arab region that offers a rehearsal, training and residency space to independent troupes and artists in the field of performing arts in Egypt, the Arab world and, in the case of residencies, the international one as a whole. SEE offers a variety of workshop serieses in different directions from dancing, acting, to projection mapping and new media arts.
It is a space where a healthy exchange among artists is possible, where artists can gain exposure, a place to house local, regional and international workshops and training and, finally, a place that can host artists from other countries, offering opportunities for shared living and work, thereby creating a bridge between the local artists and the rest of the world.
