Sudanese Center for Democracy and Development
Overview
The Sudanese Center for Democracy and Development was established as a civil society institution in April 2010 by a group of young activists who belong to different intellectual, social and political groups, been brought together by love for the homeland and their community and the belief in the need to contribute voluntarily to its service.
The idea of the Center as an advanced social formula that adopts independence, voluntarism and professionalism and addresses key issues such as: the absence of a culture of democracy from society and its institutions, the weakness of the individual's abilities and the absence of collective spirit; the youth's lack of vision and a realistic model to follow.
