Overview
The Sudanese Center for Policy Studies (SCPS) is an independent, non-profit organization that serves as a public policy research center. It was established by a number of political activists who participated in the December 2018 revolution in Sudan. The center was founded in response to the significant absence of effective public policies, particularly concerning issues related to democratic transition and the establishment of a modern, democratic, and developmental state in Sudan. SCPS aims to contribute to raising political awareness in Sudan about the importance of public policy as the best tool for addressing political and social challenges across various fields and sectors. This is achieved through research and the development of evidence-based and impactful policies.
