Overview

Swiss Academy for Development (SAD)was founded in 1991 as a not-for-profit foundation in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland. it's vision is a world where children and young people are engaged, healthy, educated and employed citizens to sustainably transform the lives of disadvantaged young people, enabling them to flourish.

They are very aware that health, education and employment are interconnected: for example, a sick person cannot go to school. That’s why we coordinate our support so that we strengthen each person (and their environment) as a whole. Full evaluation of the activities is part of the holistic approach.
