Overview

SYCAC is a non-profit, non-governmental organization founded in 2012, registered in Gaziantep, Türkiye and Aleppo, Syria. It empowers conflict-affected communities in Syria and Türkiye, fostering resilience, social cohesion, and sustainable development through civic engagement, economic empowerment, and peacebuilding.

Its four strategic pillars are: Reinforcing Civic Space and Local Capacities, Strengthening Protection, Social Cohesion, and Peacebuilding, Supporting Early Recovery and Livelihoods and Promoting Food Security and Rural Livelihoods. These programs prioritize women and marginalized groups, promoting inclusive development and community collaboration for lasting peace and recovery.
