Tamkeen
Overview
Tamkeen is tasked with developing Bahrain’s private sector and positioning it as the key driver of economic development. Established in August 2006, Tamkeen is one of the cornerstones of Bahrain’s national reform initiatives and Bahrain’s Economic Vision. They have always made it our mission to empower the private sector to drive economic growth in the Kingdom by providing programs and support for enterprises and individuals. Tamkeen has invested BHD 2 billion in direct and indirect support to enhance funding opportunities for the private sector and specifically SMEs, and support the training and employment of Bahraini individuals.
