The Arab American University (AAUP)
Overview
The Arab American University (AAUP, former abbreviation AAUJ ) is the first private university in Palestine with Palestinian capital, founded in 2000 in cooperation with California State University (CSU ) in the city of Stanislaus, which provided advice on developing academic plans and curricula and how to implement them, and Utah State University ( USU) in Logan, which provided the academic and administrative personnel for the first two years of the Arab American University. The university provides its educational services to more than 11,300 students, of whom 40% are citizens of the State of Palestine, 55% are from the Palestinian interior, and 5% are holders of high school diplomas from foreign countries, by providing a creative educational and learning environment that inspires creativity and active participation in the society.
