Tunisian Forum for Social and Economic Rights (FTDES)
Overview
Tunsian Forum for Economic and Social Rights (FTDES) is a Tunisian organization declared in the official journal in 2011. The FTDES is a non-governmental organization, neutral, independent of any political party and any religious institution. It was created in 2011 with the aim of defending the economic and social rights of populations nationally and internationally. The FTDES works on the following themes: labor law, women's rights, environmental rights and migrant rights. FTDES is part of various international networks including FIDH, Migreurop, Loujna Tounkaranké, Boats 4 People. FTDES operates with a central office located in Tunis, under the direction of a steering committee. It has several dozen members throughout Tunisia and more than twenty employees.
