Union de l’action Féminine (UAF) is a non-governmental organization with consultative status with ECOSOC (UN)

The main objectives / missions:

Promotion of Human Rights of Women.
The abolition of all forms of discrimination against women.
Harmonization of national laws with international standards, notably CEDAW and the repeal of all discriminatory laws.
The fight against all forms of violence against women.
The establishment of mechanisms to protect and promote the rights of women.
The effective participation of women in decision-making processes and the guarantee of their full citizenship.
The taking into account of the “gender” dimension in public policies for a real integration of women in development and the fight against poverty.
