Volleyball Foundation
Overview
The Volleyball Foundation is a global nonprofit initiative launched by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) in May 2024 that uses the reach and power of volleyball to support community development projects around the world. Its core mission is to connect, serve and inspire communities through volleyball to improve social well-being, focusing on areas like youth engagement, inclusion, education, health and diversity. The Foundation identifies, funds and supports impactful grassroots projects—from leagues and academies in underserved regions to programmes for displaced youth and gender equity initiatives—to foster teamwork, resilience and positive societal change. It collaborates with partners including national federations, sponsors and NGOs to expand volleyball’s role as a tool for social good, and it highlights its work through events, advocacy and measurable impact efforts worldwide.
