Overview

Youth ambassadors for local development (YALD) based in Sousse, Tunisia, is a youth-led organization established in 2020. The association’s vision is to build modern, sustainable, developed communities by engaging youth in community-based activities.

YALD’s mission is empowering youth and developing their capacities to increase their autonomy and leadership to become ambassadors for development in their communities. To achieve this mission, YALD implements majorly youth-focused activities such as capacity-building programs, youth empowering activities, socio-civic engagement activities and youth leadership enhancement activities.
