The Minority Rights Group is offering €20,000 grants to nonprofit civil-society organisations working for minority and marginalized groups in Lebanon, Tunisia, Palestine and Morocco. This funding comes through their programme Minorities, Accountability and Civic Space (MACS).
The grant supports networks that want to work together to influence policy, advocate for minority rights, or build platforms for dialogue and community action.
Eligible organisations include non-profits and grassroots groups focused on minorities (such as migrants, refugees, persons with disabilities, LGBTQI, etc.). They must show capacity in project and financial management and commit to inclusive decision-making.
The grant lasts up to 12 months and aims to fund activities such as advocacy, building networks, running campaigns, and strengthening collaboration across groups and communities.
With this funding, MRG hopes to strengthen civil-society voices and support minority rights activism that gives groups across MENA the tools to organize, speak up, and influence change,
