Introduction:

Due to the current situation of the spread of COVID19 in Egypt, the United Nations Populations Fund (UNFPA), along with its strategic partners, works to engage young people in awareness raising campaign to spread the correct information from the trusted resources about the COVID19, methods of transmission and precautionary measures.

Youth and Development Consultancy Institute (Etijah) is an Egyptian NGO working in the development field since 2006 as a specialized institute in developing, improving and disseminating development methodologies in the field of youth and community development.  Y-Peer Egypt is a youth led organization that works according to peer education interactive techniques. Currently, with the support of the UNFPA, Etijah, in cooperation with Y-Peer Egypt are implementing a huge social media campaign to inform the young people about COVID19 and urge them to fulfill their vital role to stop the spreading of the virus as per the most recent and updated information and guidelines from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Ministry of Health and Population (MOHP) in Egypt.

During the past years, social media has become an integral part of the modern culture; most of the youth are now using the various platforms of social media, as a source of information. To capitalize on this interaction, and to make use of this opportunity, Etijah is requesting proposals from Advertising and marketing companies to film 2 Y-Peer raising awareness videos, one in upper Egypt and another one in Cairo to be televised and shared on the media platforms of UNFPA partners and social media.

Objectives:

1- Creating a professionally shot videos, that is shareable and easy to understand while creating a better way of communication with a wider part of social media users.

2- Embracing the concept of “trusted resources and correct information” about COVID19 to inform the viewers about the virus while giving them a trusted source of knowledge.

3- Reaching more audience, mainly youth with knowledge about COVID-19, methods of transmission and precautionary measures from WHO and MOHP.

4- Posting Content that widens the spread of knowledge about the virus.

5- Creating a content that could be used in the different awareness campaigns about COVID19.

7- Videos will be televised through satellite TV channels, and through the media platforms of UNFPA partners.

Required Tasks:

1- Filming 2 raising awareness videos, which will be televised later.

2- Creating a creative script to be attractive and informative for the audience with the right information from WHO and MOHP.

3- As mentioned above, videos will be televised so the least limit of resolution available is (1920×1080)

4- Video Editing and Montage.

The Proposal should clearly detail all the required information against the selection criteria mentioned above.
