Asian Football Development Project (AFDP)

Overview

The Asian Football Development Project (AFDP) was established in 2012 by HRH Prince Ali Bin Al-Hussein as a non-profit youth commission based in Amman, Jordan. Its primary objective was to promote football development across Asia and the Middle East, focusing on youth empowerment, social development, and the unifying power of football. In 2018, building upon the successes of AFDP, the initiative expanded globally and was rebranded as AFDP Global. This evolution allowed the organization to extend its reach beyond Asia, supporting projects worldwide that use football as a tool to unite and transform communities. AFDP Global collaborates with various partners to promote respect, equality, and tolerance in football, aiming to create sustainable impact and improve lives through the sport.
