Sigrid Rausing Trust

Overview

The Sigrid Rausing Trust is a UK grant making foundation, founded in 1995 by Sigrid Rausing to support human rights globally and to support causes of interest to its trustees. It has developed particular expertise in the field of human rights. Over time it has increased support to organisations in the Former Soviet Union, Middle East, Africa, and Latin America, building local and national support for the principles of universal human rights.

Its aim, where possible, is to establish long-term relationships with our grantees. By focusing on long-term core funding, we hope to give Its partners stability to develop programs, build up other funding streams, and to work with groups in their region and sector. The Trust is a registered English charity, and its activities are governed by English and Welsh charity law.
