Reem Maghribi

Conflict, displacement, identity, and belonging are core themes of my work as a humanitarian, an oral historian, a researcher, and an artist. I work with UN agencies and INGOs operating in countries with highly diverse populations and many marginalized communities to develop and deliver sustainable strategies to communicate with, engage, and bolster opportunities equitable to all.

In parallel, I run a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of peace and pluralism in a turbulent region mired by authoritarianism and rhetoric of othering, producing inclusive oral history collections comprised of hundreds of interviews orchestrated at the grassroots level in partnership with local activists and CSOs.
