Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and creative Digital Marketing and Partnership Officer to join our team responsible for managing our social media platforms, engaging with our online community, and creating relevant media and website content to promote our products, and services and strengthen brand positioning. The position holder will assume several activities, including outreach, sales, engagement, and membership management.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Generate online traffic, increase website hits, search and capture new business leads, and assist in closing membership and partnership deals necessary for the business's technical and financial growth and expansion.
2. Develop and implement a digital marketing and online marketing strategy
3. Develop social media strategies to increase brand engagement and visibility. Create, publish, and share widely engaging and relevant content on social media platforms. Managing, monitoring, and analyzing social media performance and providing regular reports Designing, managing, coordinating, marketing, and moderating online events and webinars
4. Manage the design and enhance the content of DARPE regular e-newsletters.
5. Create infographics, marketing campaigns, and workshop ideas on how to connect with prospective clients.
6. Manage paid online and social media advertisements and marketing campaigns.
7. Outreach to potential targeted organizations and businesses for partnership opportunities, including selling sponsorship opportunities. Proactively contact, engage, organize meetings, and establish and maintain relationships with potential partners.
8. Manage webinars, including deciding topics, inviting and communicating with panel members and speakers, designing invitations, promoting and disseminating invitations, reviewing content, and agreeing on its branding and learning directions.

Experience and Qualification

• Bachelor degree and / or professional certificates in digital marketing, sales, journalism, social media management.
• 5 years of experience of which 3 years -at least- working in the international development sector and development orgnaizations.
• Proven experience in mass-media advertising and mass outreach using online tools and tactics.
• Experience in marketing and promoting platforms that are subscription and membership-based.
• Excellent networking skills and capacity in creating online community connections
• Creative online content writing
• A creative thinker and advertiser who grasps media logic and enjoys communicating meaningful content
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
• Professional and confident communication skills in English (written and verbal)
