On behalf of the German Government, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is implementing the Employment Promotion Project (EPP) with the objective that technical and vocational education students and unemployed youth are better prepared for the demands of the labor market. The project builds on the experiences and successes of the first phase of EPP (2011-2015) and has a duration of five years (2016-2020).
The project covers almost 130 technical schools in 20 governorates. 700+ Teachers are being qualified to deliver the services to the target group of students inside and outside the schools More experience teachers are being capacitated to act as “multipliers”, whereby their main roles focus on monitoring the delivery of career guidance classes, the provision of technical assistance to the teachers delivering the services, in addition to evaluating their performance to report necessary recommendations to the MoE
