Orange Jordan has completed an intensive training program for over 70 entrepreneurship experts across Aqaba, Irbid, and Amman. The initiative focused on preparing these specialists to provide mentorship and guidance to local startups, helping young businesses build resilience and drive innovation.

The training occurred as part of the Private Sector Access to Support Startups (PASS) initiative. The PASS program is carried out by Orange Jordan, with support from the Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Economic Development and Employment (E4DE) project, which is implemented by GIZ and jointly funded by German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the European Union (EU).

The program was offered by the Business and Professional Women Association (BPWA) and implemented by Orange Jordan. The training consisted of the basic concepts of mentoring, which include how participants can employ active listening, effective questioning, root cause analysis, and provide support networks for startups.

Orange Jordan reaffirmed its commitment to growing the country's startup ecosystem as a digital leader. Through programs like BIG by Orange, business incubators, and accelerators, the company aims to help turn local business ideas into success stories while establishing a national network of private-sector mentors.

Looking ahead, the PASS program aims to support 130 startups through October 2026. By focusing on practical, market-driven support, the initiative helps local entrepreneurs increase sales, improve productivity, and scale their businesses at different stages of growth.
