Overview
Abs Development Organization for Women and Children (ADO) is a well-established national, humanitarian, developmental, non-governmental, and non -profitable organization. It has been operating in Yemen for more than 25 years with an excellent presence in the deprived rural areas on the Coast of Tehama and various areas in Yemen through livelihood improvement for women, children, and youth.
Abs Development was founded in 1996, working to create a better living standard for women, youth and children, through Living Standards Improvement programs and enhancing civil, social, and political rights programs as well as offering humanitarian, healthcare, and protection assistance to vulnerable citizens and gender-based violence victims while partnering up with local and international civil society organizations in accordance with quality and excellence standards.
It implements its activities and programs in four governorates; Hajjah, Alhodiedah, Almahweet, and Sa'ada. It monitors its investments in many sectors and programs that include education, health, humanitarian aid, and social protection, as well as, trains and builds the capacity of its partners in development.
