Drosos Foundation
Overview
Drosos Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization based in Zurich, Switzerland, with additional offices in Cairo and Casablanca. Established in 2003, it operates independently of any ideological, political, or religious affiliations. The foundation is dedicated to empowering disadvantaged children, youth, and young adults, helping them take control of their lives and contribute positively to their communities.
The foundation focuses on promoting life and technical skills as vital components of personal development. It supports long-term initiatives that foster creative skills and economic independence through vocational training and life skills education. Drosos Foundation is involved in over 100 projects across various countries, including Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Switzerland, and Germany. Its work aligns with several Sustainable Development Goals, emphasizing dignity, responsibility, and empowerment, aiming for sustainable impact that extends beyond individual projects.
