Overview
General Union of Cultural Centers (GUCC) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization was established in 1997.
The establishment of the Union comes as a coordinating framework that works to meet the necessary and growing needs of the cultural centers and institutions to give them the opportunity to exercise their leading and effective role by encouraging them to build relationships among them. Moreover, the Union seeks to provide a unique creative forum that enables intellectuals and artists to work on crystallizing and formulating a Palestinian cultural identity that contributes positively to the processes of social and political change in Palestine
