Adaptation Fund
Overview
The Adaptation Fund finances projects and programe that help vulnerable communities in developing countries adapt to climate change. Initiatives are based on country needs, views and priorities. The Adaptation Fund was established under the Kyoto Protocol of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. The Fund helps developing countries to build resilience and adapt to climate change. It also supports developing countries that has signed on the Kyoto Protocol and projects that has been endorsed by countries' designated authorities.
