Overview
The Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States is an international governmental regional organization operating in the seven member states to promote cooperation and coordination in the fields of culture, education, science, information and documentation. This has been the mission of the Bureau since its establishment in 1975. The main objectives of the Bureau are to contribute to the unification of the countries and peoples of the region through cooperation among them, to develop collective efforts and methods of cooperation in areas of interest, and to increase the effectiveness of their educational systems to meet the development needs of the region.
