Mohammed VI Center for Solidarity Microfinance Support (CMS)
Mohammed VI Center for Solidarity Microfinance Support (CMS)
Overview
The Mohammed VI Center for Solidarity Microfinance Support (CMS) is an initiative launched by the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity to strengthen the microfinance sector in Morocco. Its primary goal is to support micro-entrepreneurs and small enterprises by providing training, capacity building, and business development assistance. The CMS offers financial education and vocational training to help beneficiaries of microcredit institutions improve their managerial and entrepreneurial skills. Additionally, it facilitates marketing and sales opportunities through events like the Solidarity Bazaar, where micro-entrepreneurs can showcase and sell their products, expanding their market reach. The center also provides continuous coaching and mentorship to ensure long-term success for small business owners. Through these efforts, the CMS plays a crucial role in fostering economic inclusion and empowering individuals, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, to establish and sustain their businesses.
