Mohammed VI Center for Solidarity Microfinance Support (CMS)
Overview
Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity has placed sustainable development at the heart of its strategy. Thus, several actions aiming at the insertion of the poor in the economic circuit were carried out. Among these, microcredit has proven to be an effective tool in the fight against exclusion and poverty, therefore the Foundation created the Mohammed VI Center for Solidarity Microfinance Support (CMS) which was inaugurated on November 8, 2007 by Sa Majesty the King.
The Mohammed VI Center for Support to Solidarity Microfinance deploys its actions through three major axes: 1)Training of staff of microcredit associations and their beneficiary clients; 2)The development of an information, documentation and sector monitoring system through the Microfinance Observatory ; 3)Promoting Micro-Enterprise and supporting the marketing of its products and services.
