Marwan Abdin, CEO & Leadership expert at ACG - Abdin’s Consultancy Group, has worked as an HR, Strategic and Innovation Management consultant to government, local and international organizations over the past 16 years. Abdin is a renowned leadership expert working with the European Union in projects developing the Leadership Skills of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Trade & Industry, the Ministry of Renewable Energy & Electricity, and several private entities. He is also a visiting Leadership lecturer at the National Training Academy, developing the leadership and managerial calibers of the Egyptian Republic’s Judicial, Prosecution and General Assembly authorities. Abdin worked with the Ministry of Renewable Energy & Electricity to assist the Strategic Management team at the ministry to effectively design their strategic plans so as to be able to connect the ministries efforts into Egypt’s 2030 National Goals as well as to be able to strategically link into the United Nations’ Strategic Development Goals (SDGs).

In his capacity as CEO of ACG and an Innovation Expert, Abdin collaborates with CEEBA in the Emphasis Project, conducting Innovation Potential Audit and Technology Readiness Level assessments for the participating SME beneficiaries so as to generate a proper gap analysis and thus highlight the areas of development for each of the SMEs to further enhance their Business Model Innovation through training, coaching and mentoring. Abdin partners with GIZ Egypt to improve the employment situation for young men and women in Egypt, focusing on blue collars and SMEs through Placement & Job quality, as well as organizational development and HR consulting.
As a Future of Work Expert, Abdin raises awareness of the growing impact of industry 4.0, where jobs are not as cut and dry as they once were and where most occupations require a set of varied skills, given that the newly existing jobs of the future demand new mindsets and skillsets. With this transitional flux, Abdin works as an advisor to private entities and universities such as Senghor University, Pharos University, Canadaian International College, University of Delaware, University of Colorado, and Jordan University in upgrading their career development & Entrepreneurship centers to qualify their students to the job market.
